About A-1 Driving School

A-1 Driving School is Houston's finest driving school. We are a family-owned and operated business with 10 years dedicated to teaching driver safety to teens and adults.

All of our instructors complete a rigorous training program and are state certified. We also provide additional training to our instructors to ensure they are patient and easy to learn from.

Our lessons are available Monday through Saturday by appointment, and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Lessons are one-on-one and strictly private.

We're proud to be an authorized Third-Party Skills Testing (TPST) driving school with the Texas Department of Public Safety, offering DPS-authorized road testing right here at our Houston location. Whether you're a teen getting your first permit or an adult brushing up on your skills, we're committed to top-quality, first-class instruction — with a commitment to making sure you're completely satisfied.
