The teen driver’s education course is state- required for all 15 and 17 year olds wanting to get a Texas drivers license. The course consists of: 26 hours of classroom instruction ( 7 hours of behind the wheel instruction 7 hours of in-car observation These requirements can all be completed at the age of 15 so your teen will be ready for their license on their 16th birthday!”
